Mathias and Katharina Aichhorn

The only youth guest house in Kleinarl belongs to Katharina and Matthias Aichhorn. They are the second generation in this family to run the traditional Peilsteinhof with its own alm.
For approximately 40 years, Young Austria has been the exclusive adventure program and bookings partner of this house which offers special adventures for guests who are interested in nature. Guests have good reasons to keep coming back to this house. By working together with the family owned farm, homemade cheeses, breads, and fresh milk are served at the breakfast table. Yummy. The Aichhorn family is happy to offer special farm courses for those who want to know more about how all of these things are made.   
The location and surrounding areas of the house also invite real adventures. In the summer the nearby forest becomes the classroom with singular and exciting programs. On warm summer nights you can spend a comfortable night in the hay barn if you are so inclined.
And, once the first snow falls, it’s off onto the skis and snowboards. There is a cross country skiing path that goes right by the house and the Kleinarl mountain train is close by to bring skiiers and snowboarders onto the slopes.
