Christine and Hartmann Egger

The Egger House is the only adventure-guest-house in Carinthia and at the same time the most southern house in the Young Austria Partner network. Christine and Hartmann Egger and family are the second-generation owners and run the house with a great deal of passion. Sports and exercise are the central themes of this house. Particularly in the summer, many activities are available here for which Young Austira, as the exclusive adventure program and booking partner, has developed and offered many programs and possibilities.   

The Egger House is located in the middle of the Carinthian Lakes region and the Ossiacher Lake is located practically right at the front door. The lake is only 1 kilometer away. Once there its off into the water for a professional sailing or surfing lesson. The mountains are also not far away. The “Gerlitzen” is located only 4 kilometers away and can be reached with a gondola. From the top there is a fantastic view – weather permitting you can see all the way to the Adriatic coast. Villach is located very conveniently for trips in Austria, Italy, and Slovenia. Sports continue at the house. Only 200 meters away you can find tennis courts and football (soccer) pitches. So, out onto the fields and lets play! To cool off, jump into the house’s private outdoor swimming pool.

Additionally: The Egger family works individually with groups regarding meals and schedules – this is an important foundation for an optimal training program for sports groups. After a day like that one has more than earned dinner. In the Egger House every group can request its favorite meals. It’s very important to Christine Egger that all guests also enjoy the food and meals. The evenings can be spent relaxing in front of the comfort of the open fireplace.
