Small but beautiful – right on the Neusiedler lake

The best location on the lake in Austria’s perfect summer region awaits the guests of the Storchencamp on the Neusiedler lake in Burgenland. The small house offers good summer accommodations for smaller groups and makes a great departure point for many wonderful summer adventures that Young Austria has organized specially for the Storchencamp.

By the way, Rust is well known for its storks that make their nests on the chimneys of the houses in Rust. Therefore a visit to the small town with its lovely homes is highly recommended.  
Only one group at a time can stay at the Storchencamp. This of course creates a very comfortable and familiar atmosphere in the house. You can hang out and not worry about infringing on other groups. Because of its ideal location, after breakfast you will of course want to head down to the Neusiedler lake. There you can take sailing or surfing lessons. The lake offers the best wind conditions of anywhere in Austria. Those who want a bit more quiet, can rent a row boat or paddle boat, can take a trip across the lake on one of the ships, or borrow the house’s bikes and bike along the lake. The Storchencamp also has a small field where in the afternoons or evenings you can lie out and relax.  
Futher entertainment can be found in a daytrip to  nearby Hungary. Or you can experience a real „Summer in the City“ with a short visit to the nearby capital city of Vienna, located only 70 kilometers away.
