The Carinth is the only hotel for children and youth in Mariapfarr. The charming and comfortable house is run by Birgitta Wenck who is always ready to help her guests – whether it’s with the spontaneous organization of busses for ski or sledding trips, or with the preparation of a night time hike with lanterns.

That the house started as a classical holiday hotel can be noticed on the first glance. Almost all of the rooms include a bathroom and toilet. The house is very well proportioned and there are many possibilities for indoor activities. There is even a summer terrace on which, during the summer, you can eat breakfast and watch the sunrise. For exploring the region, the hotel offers bicycles that can be borrowed. Additionally the house is located on a large property that includes its own fun water slide, a standard size football pitch, a beach volleyball court, and numerous hammocks. So, there’s lots of room to play, romp, and chill.

Health and the region are very important to Frau Wenck. That’s why in the Carinth all of the milk and potatoes come fresh from the region. Afterall, the guests should remember the good taste, as well as the excitement and many possibilities of this wonderful summer and winter region. Once a week the hotel invites its guests to a candlelight dinner where the light are turned off and the candles are lit. During the dinner all guests are served directly at the table in the candlelight. For Frau Wenck and the staff one thing is clear – children and youth are always the focus at the Carinth.
