Bill and Wendy Arthur
English is thought and spoken here. Wendy and Bill Arthur from Scotland have made themselves at home in the historical center of the small town of Mauterndorf. Since 2004 the British couple have been running the small charming Wendy House in Lungau with their nice British ways. It’s a truly unique experience in Austria.
A big advantage of the Wendy House is its small size. There is only room for one group at a time to stay here and makes themselves at home in the rooms or romp in the private garden. The atmosphere is as familiar and trusted as at home. This uncomplicated homey feeling is important to Bill and Wendy. They try to grant all special wishes, like for example camping out under the table tennis table. Because of the compactness of the house, culinary „favorites“ can also be accommodated. Every group that stays here will enjoy the taste of the international cuisine.
There is a bus stop located directly in front of the house so that the trip to the ski lift located only 1.5 kilometers away is quite short. Speak English and experience Austria differently. It’s a great experience that you can only have in the Wendy house.
