The Zistelberghof is a small but beautiful house that offers three star hotel comfort in Werfenweng with a wonderful panorama view of the
Hochkönig, the Hagengebirge and the Tennengebirge. Rosina Lienbacher-Wlattnig is the second generation of this family to run the house. For almost 25 years the family has been working together with their exclusive adventure program and booking partner, Young Austria.
The Zistelberghof welcomes children and youths as well as family groups during both the summer and the winter. The small number of rooms is a major advantage of the house. Everything is done very in a very friendly and personal way. The guests of the Zistelberghof always have the opportunity to discuss everything individually with Rosina – whether its about their food preferences (prepared by Rosina’s brother), or about arranging different meal times. Since only one group at a time can stay at the Zistelberghof, you don’t have to negotiate with other groups about your preferences.
This house is all about nature and exercise. During the summer, many of the adventure offers can be combined with the “soft mobility” program because the Zistelberghof supports this low priced initiative of the Werfen community.
In the winter you can go directly from the Zistelberghof to the slopes of the ski arena Werfenweng, located only 3 kilometers away. There is a ski bus stop right in front of the house. Skiing always makes you work up an appetite and it’s no problem to return to the Zistelberghof at lunch for some nourishment. Additionally, good skiing is available here all the way through April.
During both the summer and the winter you will want to relax in the evenings. So, go enjoy the private spa area of the house with its comfortable whirlpool and sauna.
